The Independent Advisory Group (IAG) established to provide strategic and policy advice to WHO in the African Region held its 3rd meeting in Rustenburg, South Africa, from 20-21 March 2018.  The group which is made up of has 13 eminent experts drawn from various disciplines across the globe recommended a range of actions to improve WHO’s work and its impact on the health of people.
