UN reaffirms commitment to ensuring peace and prosperity for all in Nigeria.  

Abuja, October 25, 2021 - The United Nations System in Nigeria has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring peace and prosperity for all in Nigeria.
This commitment was made by Dr Walter Kazadi Mulombo, the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Representative and United Nations Resident Coordinator (Ad Interim) during a symposium to commemorate the 2021 UN Day at the UN house in Abuja on October 25, 2021.

How Nigeria is tackling COVID-19 variants

As COVID-19 continues to spread, the higher the chances of more variants emerging. Since the onset of the pandemic, four variants of concern have been identified, with the Delta—first detected in India—being the most transmissible currently and dominant in many countries.
